The publications listed in this section will help you plan and implement alcohol use prevention  programs and stay up to date in the prevention field.  The guides focus primarily on environmental strategies that result in preventing youth access to alcohol; the newsletters range from daily free electronic services to weekly and monthly publications.

This section links you to information about nationally recognized, science-based alcohol use prevention programs, and enables you to investigate issues of special interest on related Web sites. These programs have received national recognition for their successes in lowering alcohol use among youth.  The Federal agencies listed here are involved in alcohol-related issues, and some conduct or support research or prevention programs.  Federal agencies provide reliable information at little or no cost. 

In addition, the Web sites provide links to comprehensive alcohol information.  Annotations are included to help you quickly locate statistics, research findings, program information, and news stories.  Many sites also allow you to order resource materials, download publications, and search databases of articles and events.  Finally, these links will direct you to specific audiences and resources customized for those groups.

Events Calendar

This calendar contains events relating to underage drinking, alcohol use, and children's health issues.  These events include conferences held by Federal agencies and national prevention organizations, workshops, and State and local activities.
