State Programs

The statewide programs below receive funding from federal agencies.

Office of Juvenile Justice Enforcement of Underage Drinking Program
The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP) has awarded grants to all 50 States and the District of Columbia to enforce underage drinking laws, and an Underage Drinking Enforcement Training Center to provide training, technical assistance, and resource materials to the States as they implement the initiative grants.

Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resource (RADAR) Network
The Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) established the Regional Alcohol and Drug Awareness Resource (RADAR) Network to make current prevention information readily available to prevention practitioners at the State and community levels.

The RADAR Network responds to the need for prevention services closer to home, staffed by people who understand the unique assets and liabilities of local communities. The RADAR Network was formed in partnership with State governments and national constituency groups. The National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (NCADI) serves as the national center for information and services, but the satellite centers of the RADAR Network provide local support to prevention practitioners and other community members interested in addressing alcohol, tobacco, and other drug problems.

The Network includes State centers, State Associate Centers, and Specialty Centers. This is the contact information for your State center:
