State Agencies
These agencies are responsible for coordinating statewide efforts in prevention, and for regulating the alcohol industry.

The ADP supports these youth alcohol and drug prevention projects:
- California Friday Night Live programs focus on youth in elementary school through high school. The programs develop partnerships for positive and healthy youth development, engaging youth as active leaders and resources in their communities. For more information, visit the Web site at: http://www.fridaynightlive.org/.
- The Alcohol Free Cinco de Mayo Youth Development Project engages a diverse group of young people to work in partnership with existing community organizations to counter the alcohol focus of this popular ethnic celebration. The youth will incorporate environmental strategies in event planning and implementation, to promote safe and responsible Cinco de Mayo celebrations.
