State organizations may be valuable sources of information on prevention activities. Many of these organizations work together on special events and legislative activities. Listed below are national organizations and their Connecticut chapters or affiliates.

Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA)
CADCA is membership organization of over 5,000 anti-drug coalitions, each working to make their community safe, healthy and drug-free. The following are the Connecticut members.

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD)

National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (NCADD)
NCADD affiliates provide information and referrals to local services, including counseling and treatment. They also conduct community prevention and education programs.

National Liquor Law Enforcement Association (NLLEA)
NLLEA is a non-profit association of law enforcement personnel dedicated to improving the standards and practices of liquor law enforcement, the professional development of its members and the public recognition of the role and achievements of liquor law enforcement in protecting and promoting the public health and welfare.
