IDAHO'S FIRST LADY LORI OTTER

Introducing Lori Otter, First Lady of Idaho

First Lady Lori Otter brings her experience as a teacher and educational administrator as well as her love of children to Leadership.  She taught K-12 physical education and health, and coached girls' basketball and volleyball at the junior high and high school levels for 13 years. 

Mrs. Otter also served on the Board of Directors of the Family Advocate Program, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Alphonsus Foundation.

She and Governor Otter live on their ranch near Star, where they raise horses. Mrs. Otter is an avid horsewoman and sports enthusiast. Born in Pensacola, Florida, she graduated from high school in south-central Idaho, and received a teaching degree at Boise State University and a master's degree in education administration from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa. Mrs. Otter was crowned Miss Idaho USA in 1991.
